Internal Communications Associate

Overview: My client is in search of a skilled individual to join their Internal Communications team. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to and implement internal communication strategies for a globally recognized investment and technology firm. You'll engage in a diverse array of strategic initiatives, encompassing crafting and revising firmwide communications, collaborating with executives on speeches, videos, and other media, and enhancing knowledge sharing and connectivity across the organization. In this position, you'll gain insights into my client's business operations and have substantial prospects for professional development, all within a welcoming and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities: Your day-to-day activities will involve developing internal communication strategies and programs that align with my client's overarching objectives. You'll closely collaborate with colleagues from various divisions, including the firm's leadership, to compose critical business updates and strategic campaigns. Your role will also encompass refining and enhancing communications, such as firmwide announcements, blog posts, live events, and videos, effectively conveying intricate information to diverse audiences with precision and attention to detail. You'll work within a team responsible for creating, editing, and delivering a wide spectrum of content, ranging from market analyses to updates on firm-related events.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree, a proven track record of achievements, and between three to five years of professional writing and/or editorial experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a necessity, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues both within and outside the team.
  • A sharp eye for detail, solid judgment, and a high degree of discretion are indispensable in this role.
  • Although finance experience is beneficial, it's not mandatory. Candidates must, however, be capable of conveying complex information to diverse audiences.
  • The anticipated annual base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $150,000. The compensation package includes variable compensation, a year-end bonus guaranteed for the first year, a relocation bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package comprising medical and prescription drug coverage, 401k contribution matching, wellness reimbursements, family-building benefits, and participation in a charitable gift match program.
