Position: Junior Paralegal

Description: We’re seeking a candidate with robust experience in legal documentation, who is proactive, creative, and self-motivated. The role entails managing various document-related tasks, including, information gathering, and document management. The candidate should thrive in a dynamic environment, adept at multitasking, prioritizing, and balancing long-term projects with urgent requests. Strong attention to detail, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are essential. Prior experience with DocuSign or a strong willingness to learn them is crucial. Additionally, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders are necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Experience reviewing various legal documents with the ability to extract info, interpret metadata and upload to databases.
  • Generate reports upon request from different internal databases.
  • Prepare documents for execution.
  • Follow up for fully executed documents.
  • Assist with bank opening accounts by providing requested documents.
  • Complete audit of internal databases as scheduled.
  • Assist with departmental audit requests or projects on an as-needed basis.
  • Back up to the records coordinate to respond and liaise with various internal and external stakeholders for document retrieval requests.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Experience with document scanning and database uploads.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver precise and timely work.

  • Experience in a regulated environment and familiarity with legal documents preferred.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.
