Senior Employee Engagement Specialist

Overview:
My client is actively seeking an accomplished events professional to join the Events, Travel, and Community (ETC) team within the Human Capital division. This role presents a compelling opportunity to become an integral part of a vibrant, inclusive, and dynamic working environment.

Responsibilities:
As a Senior Employee Engagement Specialist, you will assume ownership, leadership, and execution of a significant portion of our events portfolio. Your role involves generating innovative ideas to enhance employee engagement across the organization. Responsibilities include managing cross-group social programming, leading community-building and networking initiatives for new hires, overseeing global events, and handling production elements for high-profile speaking engagements and recruiting events. This encompasses creating run-of-shows and visual elements, managing technical checks and run-throughs with internal and external stakeholders, proposing new processes for event management, and ensuring efficiency. Collaboration is key, as you will closely work with ETC and Human Capital teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors and partners.

Qualifications:
• The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in event planning, with a preference for 10+ years of experience. A bachelor’s degree is required.
• Experience in planning events of varying sizes, both domestic and global, in-person and virtual, is essential. This includes managing event budgets and ensuring a seamless experience for attendees.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, event management tools (Cvent, Social Tables, Allseated, Slido), and video conferencing platforms (WebEx, Zoom) is required.
• Knowledge of design software like Adobe Creative Suite and AutoCAD is a plus.

• Demonstrated attention to detail, organizational acumen, and the ability to build positive relationships, including with vendors, are essential. The capacity to work under pressure while maintaining a customer service approach is required.
• Well-developed negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to liaise with members of multiple business units, are necessary.
• Creativity and innovation are key in designing visually appealing invitations, crafting engaging event schedules, and curating employee engagement activities.
• The firm values talent, curiosity, and motivation over specific academic backgrounds or finance industry experience.
• The expected annual base salary for this position ranges from $125,000 to $150,000. The comprehensive compensation and benefits package includes variable compensation, a year-end bonus guaranteed in the first year, and benefits like medical coverage, 401k contribution matching, wellness reimbursement, family-building benefits, and participation in a charitable gift match program.
